Leading up to its 100th Anniversary, The American Law Institute (ALI) launched an online interactive timeline exploring the history of the Institute from its founding in 1923 through present day. The webpage was produced internally by ALI and features stories about Institute milestones, leaders, and influential work as well as historical photos and video interviews with present day ALI members and leadership.
Web Design
The navigation was inspired by ALI’s publications. The first and second Restatements are brown, while the newest Restatement series is red. As a user scrolls, the navigation collapses to allow for the most viewing area.
Videos
The video interviews featured on the timeline were produced entirely by ALI from concept to filming to post-production. As leader of the design and multimedia team, my role was to manage and contribute to the filming and editing stages of the video production, as well as guide the overall look and feel of the videos.
We also debuted a new logo sting for ALI videos on the timeline.
